Terms of Service

1. What this service is

Investment Intelligence is an information tool. It applies published, documented rules to publicly available financial data and produces a score between 0 and 100, together with the full breakdown of how that score was calculated.

It does not provide investment advice, personal recommendations, or portfolio management. It does not know your circumstances, your goals, or your finances, and it does not take them into account. Nothing it produces is a suggestion to acquire or dispose of any financial instrument.

Every score is reproducible: the components, weights, and arithmetic are shown alongside the result, and the methodology is published. If the numbers on screen do not add up to the score, that is a defect and we want to hear about it.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you live.

3. Your account

Keep your credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else. One account is for one person; accounts may not be shared.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the scores or the underlying data.
  • Do not present our output as your own analysis or as a recommendation to others.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or access controls.
  • Do not use the service to build a competing dataset.

5. Data sources and accuracy

Financial data is obtained from third-party providers. We validate it at the boundary and monitor it daily, and we publish coverage figures alongside every score so you can see how complete the inputs were. We do not warrant that third-party data is accurate, complete, or current, and provider errors will occasionally reach a score before we detect them.

Where we cannot compute enough of a score to stand behind it, we show no score rather than a weak one.

6. Past performance and forward-looking statements

Historical accuracy figures describe how the scoring rules behaved on past data. They describe the past only. Nothing on this platform is a forecast, a projection, or a statement about what any price is going to do.

7. Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period selected and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period already paid for. Statutory withdrawal rights for consumers in the EU are unaffected.

8. Availability

Scores are recalculated on a batch schedule and are not real-time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Material changes to the scoring methodology are versioned and recorded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any investment decision you make or for any loss arising from one. You are solely responsible for your own decisions, and you should consider taking advice from a qualified, regulated financial adviser before making any.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights we will notify you by email before it takes effect, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
